Rain Gauges

drogers70

As part of our Geography work learning about weather,  8JD made rain gauges this week out of empty pop bottles. We had to use the measuring skills we learned in our maths lessons and apply them to marking up the side of the pop bottle. It was really tricky because the bottles kept trying to roll away!

We used the skills of problem solving, team work and staying positive to carry out this task. I can't wait to hear how much rain they collect over the coming week.
