Today the students were very excited about the pigs and our bbq. We fed the pigs and they were so excited to see us! There was a lot of loud squealing when they saw the students and they were also very hungry! We also went to see the chickens and ducks and picked a total of 13 eggs. We got creative and did a egg-cellent photo shoot with the eggs we found. After this we got all the supplies needed for the barbecue. We walked up to the woodland area and found "Brook Green Island" and set up our barbecue area. The students enjoyed their burgers with halloumi and crispy marshmallows! After this, they set up some carrots and cameras for the beavers. And just when we thought the day couldn't get any better we got to measure the pigs' length and heart girth to be able to see how much they currently weigh. Captain bourbon made this task challenging, but also very fun! It was a great final session for this lovely group of students. Have a great half term!
