This week for the D of E volunteering at Woodland Fort a group of students worked with local volunteers to clean up the chapel, litter pick, and cut back the brambles.  The students also were told about the history of the fort and explored the old batteries and tunnels.   The feedback we got was exceptional with one volunteer commenting:

"It was a privilege to see the students engaging with, and looking after their heritage. I hope they feel they can come back and explore at their leisure with family and friends.  The ground are open 24/7"
