Unfortunately we have had to make the decision to close temporarily following further positive tests for coronavirus within the school community.
A number of staff and students have been self-isolating this week after we were notified of a positive test. Unfortunately we’ve now been notified of further positive tests for coronavirus within the school. After taking advice from Public Health England and the Council’s public health team we have taken the difficult decision to temporarily close the school until after the half-term break reopening on Monday November 2nd.
“We have not taken this decision lightly as we are very conscious of the disruption it causes for families but the safety of our students and staff must be our highest concern."
“We plan to re-open the school after half-term and during the break the school will undergo a deep clean.”
